Our Studio

"Welcome to our studio. Everything you find here is personally curated — chosen with love, crafted by makers we know and believe in, from the heart of our Greek island."

Greek Island Living was born on Poros — a small island where the sea is always near and life moves at its own pace. That proximity to the water does something to you. It calms everything down. It makes you look more carefully at what you surround yourself with.

I'm Anouck. I came to Greece and never really left. I started my career designing interiors with natural and sustainable materials, always drawn to the things that last — not because they're perfect, but because they carry something. A history. A hand. A story.

The store is named OPS — the ancient Greek word for vision, used by Homer in the Odyssey. It felt like the right word for a space built around the way you see things: the objects you choose, the materials you trust, the makers you believe in. Inside a neoclassical building with black and white marble floors and a traditional wooden ceiling, everything is chosen with that same intention — vintage and antique pieces given new purpose, natural textiles, handcrafted objects by makers I know personally, contemporary designs that earn their place alongside the old ones.

The style is a mix of old and new. Not as a trend, but as a way of living. We believe in restoring what already exists, in finding beauty in things that have been worn in, and in surrounding ourselves with objects that feel timeless rather than fashionable.

This is slow living. Not a hashtag — a genuine way of being present on an island where the sea reminds you every day that some things matter more than others.

Greek Island Living is our way of extending that vision beyond the island. A window into how we actually live here — the light, the pace, the objects that make a home feel like itself. So that wherever you are, you can feel a little part of it.

This is a place to wander, to discover, and to feel at home. Browse the stories behind the pieces, find something you love — or simply stay a while and let the island come to you.
